Veneers or crowns: what a dental quote from Turkey should list separately
A veneer and a crown are different work, but a package quote can put them on one line. How they differ, why the number of teeth and the material change the price, and which lines to expect in an offer.

Two different kinds of work, one package name
Turkish dental packages use phrases like "Hollywood smile" or "20 teeth". Behind them there may be veneers, crowns or both. They are different kinds of work that affect teeth differently, and you cannot compare them on price until it is clear which one is in the offer.

What a veneer is
According to the Oral Health Foundation, a veneer is a thin covering fixed to the front surface of a tooth. Its purpose is usually to change the colour, shape or overall appearance of the tooth. Veneers are mostly made of porcelain or tooth-coloured composite.
Fitting usually takes more than one visit. At the first, a small amount of enamel is removed from the front of the tooth and an impression is taken. The veneer is made in a laboratory, and at the second visit its fit is checked and it is bonded to the tooth.
A veneer can last many years, but it can chip, crack or come loose. A small chip can sometimes be repaired; sometimes a new veneer is needed. The Oral Health Foundation calls veneers a long-term treatment.
What a crown is
A crown is a custom-made cover that fits over the whole tooth and restores its shape, strength and appearance. According to the Oral Health Foundation, a crown may be recommended when a tooth is badly damaged, weakened by a large filling, root canal treated, worn or cracked. A crown can also support a bridge.
A crown usually takes two visits. At the first, the tooth is shaped to make room for the crown, an impression or digital scan is taken and a temporary crown is fitted. The final crown is made in a laboratory and fixed at the second visit. Some ceramic crowns can be made and fitted on the same day.
There are several materials: porcelain bonded to metal, all-porcelain, gold and metal-free ceramic. The Oral Health Foundation notes each has its own benefits and that same-day ceramic crowns often cost more.

- What does the warranty cover if a veneer chips or comes loose, and must the repair be done at the same clinic?

Why the price may change after an examination
A remote estimate is based on your description and perhaps a photo. An examination may show that a tooth needs root canal treatment before a crown, or that a crown is needed instead of a veneer. Then both the plan and the price change. Common reasons are in why a dental quote can change.
